Meet Viona Leyco: Our Friendly Number Cruncher
From the moment I became a parent, my world shifted; every decision, every goal, every challenge became about building a better future not just for myself, but for my daughter. She’s smart, curious, and full of joy, and watching her grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. At the same time, I’ve also taken on the role of being the breadwinner and a guiding force for my two younger siblings. Balancing my own ambitions while supporting my family has taught me how to lead with love, resilience, and focus.
That same mindset, of staying grounded in what matters most, has shaped my professional path. I used to imagine myself as the woman in the office, confidently moving through the day in a blazer and heels. And now, I’m living that dream as Executive Assistant & Marketing Coordinator at Solomon Advising.
Before joining Solomon, I worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of a software engineering company. I also spent five years in the customer support industry, where I developed a strong sense of how to serve clients with care and handle business operations with calm under pressure. That mix of behind-the-scenes experience helped spark my interest in learning more about what it takes to run a successful company—from the day-to-day logistics to the bigger strategic picture.
Moving to the U.S. was another big chapter, humbling, eye-opening, and full of growth. Adapting to a new culture and environment while juggling professional and personal responsibilities showed me the importance of communication, adaptability, and grace under pressure. These are now some of the most valuable tools I bring to my work at Solomon.
In my current role, I help make sure everything is in its place, whether that’s a meeting, a marketing detail, or a message to a client. I also help tell our story to the world, sharing the exciting and meaningful work we do, much like how I share my favorite games with friends. Whether supporting the team internally or engaging with our clients, I work to keep things moving with clarity and care.
One of my favorite parts of being at Solomon is seeing the company grow, and knowing that I’m growing with it. I’m excited to continue learning new skills, taking on new challenges, and eventually leading a team of my own. My strengths—being organized, helpful, and people-focused—allow me to thrive in this role. I love making someone’s day easier, whether through a task completed or a moment of support.
Professionally, I aim to continue leveling up, especially in communication and leadership. Personally, my dream is to start my own business and raise a big, loving family filled with laughter and warmth. Watching my siblings succeed and my daughter shine already makes me feel like I’m halfway there.
When I’m off the clock, you’ll likely find me at the mall scouting for new fashion finds, trying out a new restaurant, or relaxing at home watching K-dramas or movies with the AC on full blast. Life is all about balance, and I try to soak up both the moments of movement and the moments of stillness.
